Stadium selects CBS as partner

CBS has entered into two, 10-year partnering contracts, worth more than £3m per year, with Stadium. As a result, CBS is now responsible for responsive repairs to around half the 13,000 homes owned and managed by the association, and for the external decoration and associated repairs to all of its properties across London.
As a result of the new contracts, and as part of our commitment to be active in the communities in which we work, a recruitment drive resulted in approximately 20 new members of staff joining the CBS team.
Prior to the contract starting in late 2006, CBS staff attended the associations’ annual staff conference in London to meet key members of staff and to introduce the personnel involved.
We also met more than 200 residents at a roadshow event to ensure a smooth beginning to the contracts.
As John Bell, Managing Director of CBS said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won these contracts and particularly pleased they have given a boost to the local jobs market”.
