CBS boost for Watford Football Club's Positive Futures
23.02.2007Sponsorship from CBS gives young people a brighter future
As sponsors and supporters of Watford Football Club Community Sports and Education Trusts Positive Futures Project, CBS was delighted to be able to make a pitchside presentation of a cheque for £22,500 at the Watford FC versus Ipswich Town FA Cup 5th Round tie on Saturday 17th February 2007.
Additionally, CBS were provided with a full page advert in the matchday programme and promoted as the matchday sponsor.
The aims of the Trusts Positive Futures Project is to put in place a range of initiatives which will help to engage and empower young people to be both actively involved and take responsibility for projects in their local community.
The opportunities will help to raise self-esteem, confidence and a much needed sense of identity for young people.
CBS is enthusiastic in any initiative such as this which encourages community involvement, particularly those which involve the youth sector.
