CBS is proud to be part of its local community and demonstrates its commitment through a variety of initiatives, some of which are detailed below.
- Watford FC Community Sports & Education Trust
CBS is delighted to continue its partnership with the Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust with a three year sponsoship donation of £22,500.
CBS developed its association with the trust in 2006, with the transformation of the Hornets Club Shop into an administration centre. Rob Smith, Football Development Manager at Watford FC, said: "The CBS team have done a great job and created an ideal working environment. We are delighted with our new home".
- Community sports
CBS are keen to promote youth sport in the local community and have recently sponsored the Potters Bar United under-9s and Coxley Green under-13s youth teams to further this aim.
- Apprenticeships
We directly employ the vast majority of our staff to attract and retain a commited workforce. We continue to provide trade apprenticeships to local school leavers and have recently seen another group of apprentices become qualified and join the CBS team.
